We don’t have a house phone, and our cell phones are almost never held to our ears thanks to our Bluetooth headsets, so I figured Adelaide would never figure out the holding-something-to-her-head-and-talking thing. Boy, did she surprise me yesterday morning when she started putting my iPhone to her ear!
Later that morning she found my “pool bag” (a bag I keep our sunscreen, swim suits, and Little Swimmers in). We emptied out all that boring stuff and put in a 1-year-old’s essentials—stuffed red corduroy peanut, plastic rings in blue and green, and colored blocks. Then we put on her hat and she decided this is how she wanted to spend her morning!
Girls are so much fun!!
