We are a family of Fall-lovers so we were very excited for the start of pumpkin season so we could take Adelaide to her first pumpkin patch!!!
This year, we decided to visit the Rolofff Farms Pumpkin Patch. We’ve watched occasional episodes of Little People, Big World for the past four years, and driven by the farm, but never actually participated in their pumpkin season. Having seen the show, we knew that we could be in for some serious crowds, so we hoped that by going on the first Saturday of pumpkin season we would be avoiding the major crowds. We were right! It was a GORGEOUS day and the place was so under crowded that we got a first row, second spot, parking space!
Adelaide loved being able to run round without mommy or daddy constantly by her side and all the kids and pumpkins gave her plenty to look at and explore. We picked out a nice Adelaide-size pumpkin for her, and one larger pumpkin as our family pumpkin that we’ll carve later in the month. I can’t wait to see what kind of design Matt comes up with. He is a pumpkin carving genius!
Here are some favorite photos from the day!
