I know I’m late posting about Thanksgiving, but better late than never, right?!?
We had a pretty full house for Thanksgiving. Normally it’s just Matt and I and Adelaide hanging around, but for the holiday we were joined by Matt’s parents, Nancy and George, Matt’s younger brother Nathan and their dog, Kia. I’m pretty sure that if our fancy new couch hadn’t arrived early, we would not have survived! Just kidding, but the extra seating and sleeping space made the weekend MUCH more comfortable for everyone.
The day before the family arrived we had our first snow at our new place! It wasn’t very much snow, and it didn’t stick around very long, but it was very exciting nonetheless!
Our Thanksgiving dinner was quite tasty! Adelaide only managed to enjoy a roll and some cranberry sauce before throwing a royal tantrum and leaving the dinner table. LOL!
And since Grandma and Grandpa were already here, we let Adelaide have “Christmas” early by opening the Christmas gifts they brought her. She LOOOOOOVED it! And we got some great new toys!
This is the lovely new rocking horse that graces our living room. It’s such a bummer when your kid enjoys a musical toy so much because it can’t just magically disappear! We find ourselves singing the “horsey song” daily….
