My amazing friend Janie came up for a visit last week and during one of her days here, we took Adelaide to our favorite park, the Rose Garden Children’s park!
We decided on the park that day because it wasn’t raining (woo hoo!) and it was warm! Well….it was relatively warm—45 degrees, which was at least 10 degrees warmer than it had been all week. So we bundled up and headed out!
She loved running around and watching the big kids that were playing tag. She even tried (and LOVED) the big tube slide!
And on this trip to the park, she mastered a new skill—going up stairs one foot at a time and using the handrail. (!!!!!!) I was so impressed!
We were having a great time, but inevitably, the cold temperatures won. Adelaide’s little hands were so pink and cold! She could barely move her little fingers, so we decided it was time to go.
We all went home and had hot cocoa to warm up. Turns out 45 degrees is still too cold for a day at the park!
