Thanks to my exceptionally energetic toddler, I’ve been actively searching for and trying out various indoor parks with her this winter. Yesterday, we went to our local community center’s indoor park.
Indoor parks vary wildly. This one was in the gym at the community center. They set up a “gymnastics” area with mats on the floor, soft climbing and tumbling structures as well as a balance beam, mini vault and bar. Then the rest of the gym was full of ride on toys (like trikes, scooters and cars) and every type of ball imaginable!
Adelaide had a blast!
She could run as fast and as far as she wanted. Play with just about anything she could find and interact as much or as little with me and the other kids as she pleased.
Her favorite toy seemed to be the fisher price car that she could get in and out of. She spent A LOT of time “driving” this thing around. It was great!
The best part was the price—only $3 for the full two hours (we were there for an hour and a half). We will DEFINITELY be visiting this indoor park again!
