Adelaide had not one, but TWO art classes this week! It was her last week of the Messy Art class at our community center, but her first week of Paint and Play class at the Children’s Museum.
In Messy Art on Monday Adelaide didn’t have too much interest in the art projects. Instead she wanted to play with the toys in the little cornstarch sandbox in the room. I’ll take it! A year ago, when she was in the same class, I got one-and-a-half classes of her being interested in the art projects, and the other three-and-a-half were all toy focused. So I am very ok with her being art-focused in three out of the four art classes.
Here are a few shots I got of her brief forray into the two projects:
Her Paint and Play class on Thursday was a totally different story. It helped a lot, that her friend Emerson was also in the class. But she was just much more interested in all of the projects in this class. And she got plenty messy too. Here are some pictures:
Two more weeks of Paint and Play! Yay!
