The sniffles are back… 🙁 I guess this is the price of being social and going out and meeting new playmates.
We were doing really well this year—our family caught our first head cold at the end of December/beginning of January after all of our Christmas traveling and visiting. Since then, we’ve had four. This is our fourth head cold in three-and-a-half months. UGH! We take vitamins. The girls get outside a lot for sunshine and exercise. We eat well. We sleep (mostly) well. It just sucks.
It’s like clockwork too. I’ve joined a mommy group that has about 10 different playdate options every week, and I make it out to about one or two. If it’s an indoor playdate (at a house or an indoor play space) you can bet money that 3 days after that playdate, Cadence will have a head cold, followed shortly by Adelaide and myself. Matt’s been lucky and has only suffered through two of the last four head colds, but sometimes, not even he is immune.
Anyhow. Here we are again. With our boxes of tissues. And a one-year-old who hates having her nose wiped. At least Adelaide is enthusiastic about her nose blows.
Send us your good health wishes! We need them…
