I’ve been taking care of so many other peoples blogs and websites that I’ve neglected my own! Things have been pretty busy around here this week—Matt’s been in server training and Adelaide and I have been getting ready for our Easter festivities on Sunday. This year we’ll hold Adelaide’s first ever egg hunt and her friend Emerson will be here to join in on the fun too!
This brings up a very difficult question I’ve been wrestling with lately: what are appropriate two-year-old egg fillings?? Almost everything small enough to fit in the eggs is still a choking hazard…and the usual fare (money or candy) really isn’t appropriate for two-year-olds. I’m stumped! I bought a bunch of animal crackers, raisins and gold fish as a back-up in case I can’t think of anything better in the next few days. Do you have any recommendations!?? HELP!
Adelaide’s Easter dress has been purchased:
It’s super cute and I can’t wait to see her all dressed up!
Other than an egg hunt, I’ve been planning our Easter dinner. My sister Dana, and her boyfriend Dustin will be joining us, so we’ll have a pretty full house. This is exciting because it means I got to buy a ham!! WOO! Anyhow, I should go check on my eggs which I left boiling in the kitchen while I updated this blog. Yay for deviled eggs!
Check back on monday to see pictures of all the Easter fun! Hope you have a very Happy Easter!
